With an outdated page structure, an ever-changing product catalogue, inconsistent labeling, and an input system ripe with human error, a user can easily get lost while navigating the current Zumiez site. I was enlisted to sort through the categorical mess while providing a tool for internal discussions amid pending technical and business decisions.

Within a tight budget, we delivered a mobile clickable prototype thorough documentation of a new product architecture,  recommendations for improved site navigation as well as thorough documention of our findings. Collaborating closely with Jacob Farney who led formal research and test practices, I maintained ownership over UI design, prototyping, and played a heavy role in discovery.
